‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is in theaters next week. Fans have a lot of questions and expectations, but the main one is — how will Tom Holland’s Spider-Man differ from all others?
Spider-Man: Homecoming is the third Spidey reboot, so I get it, the story has become repetitive. This is particularly true in Spider-Man’s case because all three reboots are not that far apart from each other. Fans have grown tired of watching the same thing play out (I’m looking at you, Uncle Ben) on-screen.
However, Spider-Man is one of the most popular, most recognizable heroes ever. We all love our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and he deserves an exceptionally well-done franchise, damn it! So does Homecoming do just that? Yes, but also so much more!
After the film was screened for press and thousands of lucky fans, Spider-Man: Homecoming is all both critics and fans can talk about. Just go to any of your social media accounts and you’ll see your news feed flooded with Spidey-related material.
Reviews for Homecoming have begun to pour in, and with a 95% Rotten Tomatoes rating so far, the verdict is that Tom Holland was born to play Peter Parker.
Don’t believe me? Or need to know more to get your Spidey-senses tingling with excitement? Perhaps you’re only curious about why Tom Holland’s web-slinging hero is so different from Tobey Maguire’s and Andrew Garfield’s. Whatever the case may be, these are the most notable differences…
Warning: Light spoilers are ahead if you do not want to know anything about the upcoming film.
