Six years after airing its final episode, ‘Poker After Dark’ is staging a comeback on PokerGO with a new live format set to launch this August by Poker Central!

One of the most beloved poker programs of all-time is officially getting back in the game! Poker Central today announced its plans to relaunch Poker After Dark via a new live format. Beginning this August – August 7 to be specific – PokerGO will become the exclusive home to the new live Poker After Dark which will air year-round and feature a string of tournaments from the ARIA Resort and Casino!
“Poker After Dark achieved some of the most breathtaking moments in poker by bringing the fans into an intimate setting up close and personal with the players,” said Mori Eskandani, founder, Poker Productions. “PokerGO is the perfect destination for the return of Poker After Dark and we look forward to bringing back the same spirit of the show that made it such a hit in the past.”
In the new iteration of the show, some of the top poker players and biggest personalities from the game will face off against one another as Nick Schulman and Ali Nejad providing commentary of the must-see games. The series will continue to give viewers a chance to get up close with the game with each player being mic’d up as they partake in a variety of games including No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha and more.
“PokerGO’s vast content library will now include the return of one of the most beloved poker shows in the world as we continue our commitment to delivering premium live content our subscribers want to see,” said Joe Kakaty, president of Poker Central in a statement. “We plan to announce additional high stakes tournaments and original programming in the near future as we continue to build on the PokerGO offering.”
