The season 7 premiere of ‘Game of Thrones’ caught us up with the characters, and now it’s time to put everything into motion. Who died in episode 2, “Stormborn“?

Spoilers ahead…

Last week, HBO’s Game of Thrones season 7 premiere cut us a break by not killing any of our favorite characters. That is, unless Walder Frey’s men were some of your favorites. Arya Stark opened the season with a feast, crossing another name from her list! Using Walder Frey’s face, Arya served his men poisoned wine. Oh, the taste of sweet, sweet revenge! But now, as we move deeper into the season, things are kicking into high gear!

Season 7 is the most obscured Game of Thrones season yet. The network does not plan on releasing advanced episode screeners to critics to avoid any spoilers from leaking online. Hold on to your seats, because other than a few clues and teases (and mostly from the books) we have no idea what to expect.

The secrecy works to our benefit when we are pleasantly surprised. Just as we were last week, cheering and proud of Arya! But this week, the surprises were pretty shocking — enter Euron Greyjoy out of nowhere! Yara’s not so beloved uncle took over her ship.

There were many casualties on both sides, but significantly more for Yara.

Euron’s army killed Obara and Nymeria, and took Tyene, her mother Ellaria, and Yara. They’re as good as dead if you ask me. And as for Theon Greyjoy, he jumped ship. Literally.

“Stormborn” was a solid episode! Does this confirm that Ellaria and Yara are Cersei’s gift from Euron? Let us know in the comments!

Game of Thrones airs Sunday nights at 9/8c on HBO. Be sure to tune in!
