Scream Season 3 has finally added some serious star power to its ranks with the casting of Keke Palmer, RJ Cyler and more!

More from Hidden Remote

Keke Palmer isn’t ready to give up her scream queen title just yet! After a 2-season stint on Fox’s horror comedy Scream Queens, Palmer has signed on to headline the third season of MTV’s Scream horror franchise.

As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Palmer is set to play social activist Kym who has “zero patience for suffering fools.” Like her Scream Queens character Zayday Williams, Kym isn’t willing to become the killer’s next victim and “works to flip the script and survive at any cost” (Side note, is it too much to just ask the writers to rename the character because we’re getting some serious Zayday vibes from these character descriptions!)

In other Scream Season 3 casting news, Power Rangers star RJ Cyler has been tapped to star as Deion Elliot, the football star at the heart of the new season whose past comes back to haunt him and his friends. Meanwhile, 13 Reasons Why‘s Giorgia Whigham has been cast as goth girl/horror movie lover (aka the new and female Noah), Beth; Giullian Yao Gioiello (Julie’s Greenroom) has been cast as Manny, an intelligent and openly gay student; and Jessica Sula (Recovery Road) has been tapped to play the new-girl in town who quickly catches the attention of Deion.

The quintet of actors join previously cast Tyga and C.J. Wallace as Deion’s step-brother Jamal and the mysterious Amir, respectively.
