Teen Wolf’s time on MTV is set to come to a close this September, but we could be heading back to Beacon Hills in 2019 via a spinoff featuring original star Tyler Posey!

More from Hidden Remote

On Sunday, September 24 fans are set to bid farewell to Beacon Hills as Teen Wolf wraps up its six season run on MTV with its 100th and final episode. However, the show’s 100th episode might not be the last time fans lay eyes on Beacon Hills and the supernatural residents they’ve come to know and love over the show’s six season run.

According to a casting credit on star Tyler Posey’s IMDb page, Posey is set to headline a Teen Wolf spinoff series rumored to premiere sometime in 2019 with Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis attached to serve as executive producer on the continuation to the franchise which first launched on MTV back in summer 2011. So exactly what would the focus of the spinoff be and how would it fit into the Teen Wolf narrative?

Per IMDb, the spinoff series will pick up “a couple of years after Scott McCall left Beacon Hills” with Scott returning to the town he once called him in order to “help the next class of werewolves and other creatures.” Interestingly enough, original stars Linden Ashby and Kyhlin Rhambo are also attached to reprise their respective roles as Sheriff Stilinski and Mason Hewitt in the spinoff – which makes sense as both have long been assets to Scott and his pack.

While no official announcement has been made by MTV regarding the project, its premise is one that would serve as the perfect launching pad for a continuation of the beloved supernatural franchise.
