The stars of This Is Us shut down the 2017 Emmys red carpet with Pearson pride, bow ties, beautiful dresses. Check out their looks!

The 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were a big deal for NBC’s hit series This Is Us, which was up for 10 awards — including Outstanding Drama Series — and brought broadcast television back into the awards conversation. Ultimately, the family drama took home two acting Emmys for Gerald McRaney and Sterling K. Brown. But the Pearsons swept the whole show in our hearts.

However, the best part of the show began before the cast of This Is Us entered the auditorium for the Emmys. Out on the red carpet, the entire cast looked better than ever and made quite the splash for their first time at the big show. From Mandy Moore showing off her engagement ring to Chris Sullivan’s cane and bedazzled shoes, the stars of This Is Us showed up and shut down the carpet in true Pearson style. See photos of the cast below!

Technically, Chrissy Metz and Milo Ventimiglia posed together at the 20th Century Fox after party, but the photo of the on-screen father and daughter was too cute to pass up. Metz and Ventimiglia both looked flawless in their red carpet looks. Doesn’t it make you wish you could have seen them each onstage accepting their Emmys? They’ll get ’em next year!

Mandy Moore

There’s no other way to describe Mandy Moore’s Emmys look than luminous. The leading lady (who should have been nominated) rocked a tiered tulle gown and a bold pink lip, and oh, what’s that? Oh, yes, it’s her engagement ring! Moore and longtime boyfriend Taylor Goldsmith, who joined the This Is Us star for the ceremony, recently got engaged. That’s even better than an Emmy!

Sterling K. Brown

The hot trend on the Emmys red carpet among the men of This Is Us? Bow ties! Spoiler alert: Each of the five starring men donned the elegant adornment, though Sterling K. Brown had one more special adornment. Yes, he shared the historic evening with his wife, Ryan Michelle Bathe (who guest starred on This Is Us), but he took home the night’s top acting prize!

Justin Hartley

It’s a good thing Man Crush Monday falls on the day after the Emmys because the men of This Is Us are giving us plenty to celebrate. Justin Hartley, who walked the red carpet with soon-to-be wife Chrishelle Stause, looked sharp in a blue suit. Imagine, Hartley will look very different on the big screen this fall in A Bad Moms Christmas…

Susan Kelechi Watson

Randall’s right: Everything’s better with a little Beth on it. Susan Kelechi Watson made an memorable entrance to the Emmy awards in a shimmering silver gown. We can only hope she landed on more than a few best dressed lists and, better yet, will score a nomination for her work on This Is Us in the future.

Chris Sullivan

It’s hard to figure out where Toby ends and Chris Sullivan begins. Toby’s flashy suit coat was one of the best laughs in the first season of This Is Us, but it’s not hard to tell where the character gets his style. Sullivan wore a top hat, purple bow tie, bedazzled shoes, and completed the look with a cane. You have to hand it to Chris Sullivan for always bringing originality and fun to the red carpet!

Ron Cephas Jones

Of all the men wearing suits on the Emmys red carpet, none of them could pull their look together quite like Ron Cephas Jones. Sure, the men of This Is Us wore bow ties, but Jones? He topped off his black and white ensemble with an untied bow tie. A legend and style icon. Also, worth noting: Ron Cephas Jones’ loss might have stung the most, but as William, the actor won our hearts!
