In the latest Supergirl Seasons 3 promo fans are treated to their first glimpses at the new season including their first look at Mon-El in Season 3!

At long last fans hoping to get their first look at Chris Wood’s beloved Daxamite Mon-El are sure to be pleased by the newly released Supergirl promo – there’s just one little problem. While Mon-El does indeed appear in the new “Hero’s Journey” trailer, the appearance is a blink and you miss it type appearance – though the sweet Karamel moment is sure to appease fans’ appetite for the show’s breakout couple.

Elsewhere in the trailer, which features a beautiful, yet chilling monologue from Calista Flockhart’s Cat Grant, fans get a feel for just how hard Kara has been throwing herself into her role as Supergirl. As the reporter’s voice quips in the opening moments, it seems Supergirl is just about everywhere – something star Melissa Benoist revealed would play a key role in the opening episodes of Season 3 during our conversation at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

“When we pick up in Season 3, Kara has very much dedicated herself to being Supergirl and I don’t think she wants to address what happened for Kara Danvers. So the balance is a little off kilter right now and, I think, this season we’re going to explore her identity,” Benoist previewed. “[We pick up] a couple of months past where we left off [and when we first see Kara], she’s in National City really just going after every possible crime she [can].”
