Season 5 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine is to about to get underway with a Prison Break inclusion already in the works.

This season will be like no other as two members of the Nine-Nine are behind bars. Jake and Rosa were carted off to prison at the end of Season 4 after being framed with masterminding a whole host of bank robberies.

Season 5 is kicking off almost exactly where it left off with the two detectives still behind bars. Jake is unsurprisingly not coping well with his new surroundings whereas Rosa is quite enjoying solitude.

He is scheduled to appear in Episode 2 of the season, but it could be possible we will see more of him later on.

Will this be how Jake and Rosa escape?

It’s certainly possible.

Jake and Rosa didn’t fare too well when they tried to win their freedom last season so this could be the solution, turning towards other areas of expertise, to gain their freedom.

Of course, it could be completely unrelated as well and have nothing to do with aiding Jake and Rosa in their attempt to gain their freedom.

What do you think? Is Adelstein the key to gaining their freedom or is this just a side storyline?
