Dragon Ball Super: one-hour special preview and predictions

Dragon Ball Super will be airing a one-hour special on October 8th. See what action awaits Goku and the gang as the Tournament of Power heats up.
Dragon Ball Super took the week off this week. Instead we will get a one hour special of One Piece. The following week fans will get back-to-back episodes of Dragon Ball Super. These episodes will count as episodes 109 and 110.
We are now 19 minutes into the Universe Survival Tournament. Universe seven has lost Krillin, Tien, and Master Roshi. Recently we seen in episode 108, Frieza eliminated Frost. Frost being unhappy Frieza betrayed him tried to attack from the sidelines. Zeno did not allow this and erased Frost on the spot. Afterwards Zeno threatened universe six, that if any other member of the team cheats he will erase the entire universe on the spot. That leads us into episodes 109 and 110.
Goku vs Jiren
The last we seen from Goku, he was taking on RiBrianne of universe two. At the start of episode 109 preview we get to see Goku and Jiren going head-to-head. Jiren is a character with a lot of hype surrounding him. He is being portrayed as the man to beat in this tournament. We see Goku in his super saiyan blue form throwing everything he has at Jiren, but Jiren is just dodging with ease. Afterwards, we get shots of RiBrianne using different attacks. However it isn’t clear who she is attacking. Finally, we see something we’ve never seen before, Goku is in super saiyan blue kio-ken using a genkia doma (spirit bomb). Jiren seems to be bracing for impact or preparing to push the attack away.
Predictions
The episode will start with Goku continuing to fight RiBrianne. Jiren will approach, we know from recent spoilers when Jiren unleashes his energy it will overwhelm other warriors. RiBrianne will fall victim to the overwhelming power. Goku and Jiren begin their fight. Nothing Goku does seems to work. Goku pulls his trump card which is the spirit bomb. When that doesn’t work Jiren makes quick work of Goku, but doesn’t eliminate him.
Jiren will then go on a rampage beating opponent after opponent. eventually Jiren gets to someone Goku cares about, most likely Gohan. Gohan is strong enough to hang with Jiren, which forces Jiren to badly injure Gohan. Goku still hurt and helpless is there watching. He yells at Gohan to get away from Jiren, but Gohan doesn’t listen. Seeing Gohan hurt sparks Goku and triggers his new transformation. Then episode 110 will end with fans on a cliffhanger.
