Shameless season 8 spoilers: 29 new premiere photos released!

The Gallaghers are returning for Shameless Season 8 in just two short weeks, and Showtime has released dozens of photos from the premiere episode!
When Shameless Season 8 premieres on Nov. 5, we’ll find the Gallaghers “on an upswing”! With two bags of Monica’s meth buried in her casket, there are five bags still in play for Frank and the other Gallagher siblings.
Coming off of an emotional finale, we’re excited to see how Shameless will evolve in its eighth season. Just two weeks away from the premiere, Showtime has released dozens of new photos that reveal a bit more about what we can expect from “Where’s My Meth?”

This season of Shameless will feature new recurring guest stars Jessica Szohr as Fiona’s tenant, Nessa, and Farah Tahir as Frank’s new boss, Adeeb. Boss?
Yes, you read that correctly. Frank Gallagher is a working man!
Showtime has announced that Shameless Season 8 also welcomes back returning recurring guest stars Elliot Fletcher as Trevor and Ruby Modine as Sierra, who can both be seen in photos below, along with Scott Michael Campbell as Brad, Lip’s mentor.
Frank Gallagher
In the season premiere, Frank (William H. Macy) “comes out of a drug-induced haze and decides it’s finally time to be a contributing member of society.” The clean-shaven, suit-wearing father of the year is focused on his spiritual health while still mourning the loss of Monica. We know that he’ll keep a job for at least a few episodes this season, but we’re not placing bets on Frank staying like this for very long.
Fiona Gallagher
Fiona’s (Emmy Rossum) face says it all in this first photo as she receives an out-of-character hug from Frank, but it looks like most of her story in the premiere will revolve around her new role as a landlord. Showtime reveled that Fiona “faces hard decisions when she discovers her success as a landlord may mean someone else’s misfortune,” but it also appears that Fiona will befriend Nessa in the premiere.
And are the birthday pancakes for Kev? That is definitely the Ball house!
Lip Gallagher
Lip (Jeremy Allen White) will struggle with “unexpected sacrifices” he has to make in order to stay sober, and in “Where’s My Meth?” he’ll be spending some time with Sierra, but not in a way that he’d like to be. Based on the trailer and these new photos, Lip will only be in her life because she asks him to babysit.
Ian Gallagher
We’ve learned that Ian (Cameron Monaghan) “will take up a cause in hopes of getting back with Trevor,” but it also looks like that might include his work as an EMT, helping youth in the area. Ian will also be around for more Gallagher-family shenanigans, as he appears in several of the group photos for Shameless Season 8 too.
Debbie Gallagher
Debbie (Emma Kenney) will build “her future at welding school while juggling life as a single working mom” this season, and we’ll see her in welding class for the first time in the premiere. Debs gets a lot of slack for choices she’s made over the past few seasons, and this storyline might be one of our favorites for the character. (And baby Franny is just so stinking cute!)
Carl Gallagher
We’re having flashbacks to Season 6 Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) in this first picture with the new Gallagher hot tub in the side yard, but military-school Carl is still very much alive. Other photos show Carl in his army pants and boots, and he’s even wearing an apron while doing chores in the kitchen. We know that he’s going to be responsible for coming up with school tuition in Shameless Season 8, and we can’t wait to see how he uses his “creative side” to earn the money.
Liam Gallagher
Played by newcomer Christian Isaiah, Liam will still be attending private school in Shameless Season 8, though when it comes to painting a portrait of his home life, Liam seems to visualize Wallace St. as a scary place of darkness.
Does anyone else think he painted it as a graveyard? It’s not like the Gallagher kids haven’t dug up a body in that yard before…
Kev and Veronica Ball
Kev (Steve Howey) and Veronica (Shanola Hampton) aren’t seen together in any promotional photos, but we do see one with Kevin and their twins, and another where Kev is drinking at home, looking lost in his thoughts — most likely reflecting on how to deal with the fact that Svetlana stole The Alibi Room from them.
We learn a bit more from the photo of Veronica, who has a bruised forehead and is clutching a scared Yevgeny, Svetlana and Mickey’s son, in the bar.
