Ancient Aliens: Mexico has a mercury-fueled spaceport in the City of Gods

Ancient Aliens proposes the ancient city of Teotihuacan has more than meets the eye.

Was Teotihuacan an ancient spaceport? Why did the civilization around the area suddenly leave? Did an extraterrestrial presence shape the city and saturate it with advanced civilization and cosmic principles? Why do people put pineapple on pizza? How did people using stone tools accomplish such amazing feats?

All of these questions are left unanswered on City of Gods, but the theories are nonetheless interesting and leading.

Before Mexico City, there was Teotihuacan.

According to legend, the Aztecs believed they were created in the image of their gods. Their gods descended to Earth on a giant flint knife-shaped ship that either landed or crashed. Out poured 1,600 gods who made the Aztecs to honor and serve. Who were those gods you ask?

One of the resulting after effects of this immigration is Teotihuacan, a massive city situated a short distance north from Mexico City, and covering roughly 8-miles. Over 100,000 residents once lived there, and it was the largest city in the western hemisphere hundreds of years ago. Amid the connected canals and causeways, there are walls made of skulls, and a thoroughfare called “Avenue of the Dead.” Adjacent buildings, platforms, and a temple dedicated to Quetzalcoatl litter the area. The most prominent structures are the two pyramids: The Pyramid of the Sun and The Pyramid of the Moon. It was truly the Rome of Mesoamerica, but without hieroglyphs or progression/evolution from smaller facilities nearby, the area is shrouded in mystery.

Considering this is where the Aztecs said their original ancestors came from, it could be several thousand years old. Perhaps even older than modern day archaeologists suggest.

Unique construction questions abound.

The Pyramid of the Sun is actually like a Taco Bell menu item: five layers on top of each other. Just like a Russian nesting doll. What’s curious is the older layers are the more complex. Expert David Wilcock, who looks like a discount Owen Wilson, says we should respect how complicated the site is. Ancient Astronaut theorists suggest aliens (i.e. sky gods, lords of thunder) built it. Giorgio agrees, and asks, “What gods?” Shocker that he’s on board with aliens being involved.

Originally, archaeologist Leopaldo Baltres excavated the site in 1884, noting the pyramids were covered by a great layer of dirt. Mother Nature would take an incredible amount of time to cover such a large structure, so the team on Ancient Aliens suggests only a cataclysm could cause it. The reference is obviously to the great flood, which would date the pyramid and surrounding, original structures to thousands of years earlier than mainstream archaeologists believe.

Recent discoveries shed “light” on the pyramid.

Local researcher Marco Vigato gained unprecedented access to the Pyramid of the Feathered Serpent, and observed some interesting details. Many of the larger stones are 4 to 10 tons, constructed of andesite – extremely strong volcanic rock – and have smooth surfaces and sharp angles. Stone tools would not be capable of such fabrication.

More from Hidden Remote

A torrential downpour in 2003 left a 3ft wide sinkhole at the foot of Temple of the Feathered Serpent, and archaeologists quickly explored the cavity. Inside they found a tunnel connected to the sinkhole, and the tunnel led to further discoveries. Three chambers exist along the path, each containing jade statues, ceramics, and other curiosities. (No word on the other 33.) After 12 years of excavation, a pool of liquid mercury was discovered in 2015. More importantly, Wilcock notes liquid mercury can’t exist in its native form in nature, and a difficult extraction process is required. How did it get there? What purpose?

Later, hundreds of gold colored spheres (1-5 inches each) were discovered in the pathways, and the walls of a cave is dusted in gold flecks. The room and orbs glitter like a cross between El Dorado meets Aliens. The orbs are covered in jarosite, which is oxidized pyrite (i.e. fool’s gold). Additionally, some interior substances are anamolous, and can’t be identified.

Last but not least, sheets of mica have been discovered all over the site. Some sheets have been in between stone walls, and were used as an insulator. Likewise, today mica is used as a heat shield and with technology, and can resist temperatures to resist 1,800F.

What does it all mean?

In conclusion, Ancient Aliens theorists propose mica sheets found around the area may have been used as heat shields for whatever was happening with the mercury and the golden orbs. In fact, many structures show a massive fire damage centralized around a single location. The fire can be traced back to an uprising in the 6th century. The prevalent theory is a massive explosion, resulting from mishandled or ill-contained energy. Additionally, the power/explosion may or may not be linked to an electromagnetic power plant or a space ship.

Essentially, Ancient Aliens proposes quantum levitation, and a mystery, mercury-based spaceship fuel.

An alternate possibility exists.

They really liked shiny things, and mercury poisoning killed enough of them to cause a massive revolution. Subsequently, a massive fire and some explosions took place in one destructive battle. The civilization descended into anarchy with the rulers dead, and everyone left the metropolitan area because they thought it was cursed or polluted. Occam’s razor, y’all.

Ancient Aliens leaves many questions unanswered. In fact, the one true question answered relates to levitation. Levitation through tech is not a shocker. Consequently, chalk this one up as a filler episode. It’s fun stuff, but everything is theory.
