Winterfest preview: Hallmark Channel’s Frozen in Love sure to warm your heart

As Hallmark Channel’s Winterfest festivities continue, Hallmark looks to spread some love with the heartwarming Frozen in Love!
This Saturday night on Hallmark Channel, there’s no better way to avoid the cold temperatures and winter weather sweeping across the nation than by settling in on the couch to enjoy the premiere of Hallmark’s latest original film Frozen in Love!
As part of the network’s annual Winterfest programming slate, Frozen in Love brings together Psych‘s Rachel Leigh Cook and Eureka‘s Niall Matter for a heartwarming winter-set film about two unlikely individuals who find love after being thrust together by an unexpected curveball in life.
The story begins with Mary (Cook), an uptight bookstore owner, whose store could very well be forced to close its doors unless she can drum up some attention. Meanwhile, recently suspended Denver Royals hockey star Adam Claiborne (Matter) is looking to get some good PR of his own and ends up at the same PR firm Mary has sought out for assistance in bringing in new business.

Hoping to help their two clients, Mary and Adam are paired together hoping that Adam’s image can be turned around as he experiences humble experiences such as working with a youth hockey team sponsored by Mary’s bookstore while Mary has the chance to draw new eyes while being pushed in the direction of some much-needed change.

However, their constant bickering ends up causing them more harm when the press gives them more bad publicity. Ultimately, the media snafu gives Adam and Mary the push they need to finally work together and try their hand at embracing change.
