It has been six months since I last wrote about Creed 2. At that time, we had very little information about what Sylvester Stallone was transcribing. The only thing certain was that it would somehow revolve around the idea of Adonis (Michael B. Jordan) Creed and Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren). Also, we knew it would be out in theaters in 2018. With a little help from the IMDB page, we have more information.

Ivan Drago is going to train his son Vitor who is portrayed by Romanian boxer ‘Big Nasty’ Florian Munteanu. Munteanu is mountainous and looks every bit like the son of Drago. He stands at 6’4″ and weighs in at 245 pounds all muscle.

Coming back is Tessa Thompson (Bianca). In Creed, she was dealing with hearing loss and pursuing a music career. It will be interesting to see how she confronts Adonis about fighting such a massive machine in Vitor. We all know how Adrian reacted in Rocky IV. Also, are their marriage plans for Adonis and Bianca?

Stallone who has a hand in writing along with  Cheo Hodari Coker (screenplay), and Ryan Coogler (characters). Stallone is also giving directorial duties to fresh new-comer Steven Caple Jr. The last time we saw Rocky, he was suffering from cancer and battling it. The big question is this the end of the former champion?

Now that we know that team Drago is going against team Creed, how will it shape out? Is this going to be for the championship title vacancy left by ‘Pretty’ Ricky Conley who had to go to prison? Also, where is Carl Weathers? There is no mentioning of him or Apollo in IMDB. There are no updates since March of 2018. However, Stallone has routinely put pics up of Weathers as Apollo on his Instagram account. So, I am not counting that out yet.

Creed 2 will be hitting theaters on November 21, 2018. The most recent Creed made $110 million domestically and earned Stallone a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination for best-supporting actor.
