General Hospital spoilers for Monday, February 5 reveal that the ripples from the death of Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) continue. The GH promo for Monday’s episode shows that Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) tells Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) he’s worried that he didn’t do enough to save Nathan’s life. In the end, it’s Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) fault for shooting Nathan, but Griffin is burdened by guilt. Liz comforts Griffin and assures him that he did his best.
Elsewhere in GH, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) confides in Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) who still has Faison’s brain in a jar on his desk. Franco confides in Kevin that he might need to walk away from Liz and her boys to keep them safe. Franco tells Kevin, “I need to get away from them, even if it breaks my heart.” Liz is proud of Franco for working with Kevin, but the insights Franco gains could drive him away from Liz and put the Friz wedding on the skids.
Sam wants Drew to forget recovering his memories
General Hospital spoilers from Soap Central reveal tense action next week. Sam Cain (Kelly Monaco) begs Drew Cain (Billy Miller) to forget about finding the memory stick and recovering his past. Sam tells him it is probably too dangerous to use the drive anyway, but Drew can’t go on living like this. He’s furious his twin Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have been lying to him about Heinrik Faison and his role in their memory swap.
Other GH spoilers promise that Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) won’t let Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) rip her away from her child as she did to Ava Jerome (Maura West) with little Avery. Nelle tells Ava that she doesn’t need to worry about Carly anymore because she’s got a plan to make sure she can’t hurt either of them ever again. Ava can’t help herself but get excited. She promised Griffin she’s a better person, but if there’s a chance to get Avery back, Ava will take it.
Michael worries and Sonny finds his dad
Also on Monday’s General Hospital, spoilers say that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) quizzes his mom on what Nelle did. In fact, Nelle hasn’t enacted her plan yet. Carly is ratting out Nelle for almost slapping her on Friday, but will Michael recognize that Carly brought that on herself? Unless Carly shares that she was mocking Nelle for her mental health issues, Michael will take his mom’s side. Of course, it’s pretty awful what Carly said given Morgan’s bipolar and Carly’s own time at Shadybrook.

Carly keeps prodding Jason to take what’s his, and by that, she means his ex-wife Sam. Jason is getting tired of Carly pushing him. She Knows Soaps spoilers for GH promise Sonny is treated to a blast from his past. He got a call about his dad Mike Corbin (recast Max Gail) and went looking for him. Instead, he finds a woman at the door and asks, “Does Mike Corbin live here?” There’s no telling what sad truth Sonny will discover about his troubled father.
