Ranking The Hillywood Show parodies since Twilight

This really should not be that surprising. The Supernatural Parody put The Hillywood Show on the map for many. It’s the most viewed parody of all, sitting at 15 million views at the time of writing this. Each month that number jumps up and it’s not surprising that the girls have decided it’s time to delve into the world of the SPNFamily again.

But this parody is extra special. The song fit perfectly on two counts: it was fitting for the storyline but also one that featured in the show and was completely different to what many people expected. The lyrics were changed to fit the series and now many fans will tell you that they can’t listen to the original without singing the parody lyrics. Sorry, Taylor Swift!

And then there’s the ending. Osric Chau and Rob Benedict being in the parody was already awesome. Then Richard Speight Jr. showed up and it was easy to understand why considering the close relationship between the three. But then Gil McKinney, Tahmoh Penikett, Samantha Smith, and Mark Pellegrino showed up. If you haven’t watched some of the reaction videos, you’ll want to search for them; they were epic.

Of course, they got better, as Misha Collins, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles all showed up to be in the video. Yes, Chau, Speight Jr. and Benedict managed to get almost the entire cast. It was a shame Mark Sheppard, Ruth Connell and Felicia Day were missing, but the cast list was simply astounding.

The Hillywood Show has a lot to live up to after the first Supernatural parody, especially with getting the cast members involved. Is this something they can pull off in style again? Which storyline from the series will they choose?
