The Dancing With The Stars Season 26 cast probably will not be announced for a few more months. But we are already picturing some standout performers at the 2018 Winter Olympics joining the upcoming all-athlete edition of DWTS.

More from ABC

ABC previously announced that the upcoming shortened season of DWTS will only feature athletes. And we believe that at least one of those athletes will be a 2018 Olympian. After all, Dancing cast several stars from the 2016 Olympic Games, namely Simone Biles and Laurie Hernandez. Even before that, gold medalists like Evan Lysacek and Apolo Anton Ohno found success on the ballroom floor.

So which Winter Olympians should join the Dancing With The Stars Season 26 cast? Here are some ideas:

Adam Rippon

Nathan Chen may have all of his quads, but Rippon has been the breakout star of America’s figure skating squad at the Olympics. His gorgeous routines combined with his sassy personality and outspokenness have quickly made him a fan favorite. And his post-routine interviews with Erin Andrews would certainly be hilarious!

Mirai Nagasu

Like Rippon, Nagasu was one of the stars of Team USA during the team figure skating team competition. She became the first American woman to complete a triple axel at the Olympics. And she has already made it clear that she wants to be part of the Dancing With The Stars.

“I’m definitely going to be plugging myself here, but some athletes get to make their debut on Dancing With the Stars, and so I’m hoping my personality will win me a spot on that show,” she told Yahoo.

She has even already picked out her ideal partner: “Definitely Mark Ballas, because he definitely helped Kristi [Yamaguchi] win the Mirror Ball,” she added.

Maia and Alex Shibutani

We already had ice dancers Charlie White and Meryl Davis compete on DWTS, so why not the Shib Sibs? They have a big social media following that could bring in more viewers. And we know Dancing producers love pitting family members against each other (see: Nick and Vanessa Lachey last season).

Chloe Kim

Of course, we can’t have only figure skaters in the Dancing With The Stars Season 26 cast. So how about Chloe Kim? She lived up to the hype with her gold medal in women’s snowboard halfpipe. And her hilarious tweets during the competition prove that she has the personality to stand out during DWTS.

Chris Mazdzer

The first American to ever medal in men’s singles luge would definitely bring some eye candy to the Dancing With The Stars Season 26 cast.

Jessie Diggins

The cross-country skier is known for her love of glitter. So she would feel right at home in DWTS‘ sparkling costumes.
