Supernatural casting: Where do you know Erica Cerra from?

Erica Cerra has appeared in a handful of Supernatural Season 13 episodes as the top angel in charge. Where do you recognize the actress from?

Erica Cerra is currently known as Duma, one of the top dogs of Heaven in Supernatural Season 13. However, she’s another one of those returning faces in the series, originally appeared in Season 6. However, that’s not the only place you’ll recognize the talented actress from and there’s hope that she’ll return more in Season 13 now that Lucifer is in Heaven.

So, where do you know the actress from? What else have you seen her in?

Supernatural Season 6: Robin

Cerra guest-starred as Robin in the Supernatural Season 6 finale. After Sam’s wall in his mind falls (thanks, Castiel) and he suffers amnesia, Sam attacks police who are trying to move him along and he runs into a bar. Robin is the bartender there, who instantly takes pity on him because of his memory loss.

She spends the episode helping him retrace steps and find his brother, as snippets of memories return to him. It turns out that Robin is just a figment, a reminder of the things Soulless Sam did. She was a meatsuit for a crossroads demon; a demon killed by Soulless Sam. An even bigger twist is that Sam is unconscious due to the breaking of his wall and everything he’s seeing right now is in his head.

Smallville, Eureka, The 100 and more

Cerra has a long list of credits since she started her acting career in 2004. Some of those are from The WB/The CW shows, including Smallville and, most recently, The 100.

Supernatural isn’t the first time she’s returned to a show and played a different character. In Smallville she was in three episodes, playing three different characters. However, in The 100, she played two characters: Becca and Becca’s A.I. form A.L.I.E.

A.L.I.E. is one of her more standout roles. She was viewed as the main antagonist for The 100 Season 3, as she pushed people to take the pill that would allow them to go to the City of Light after death. She was a computer generated application that would end up building almost a mind of its own, becoming bigger than Becca ever really wanted her to be.

She has also had success with other fantasy and sci-fi shows, such as Eureka, where she played Jo Lupo in 77 episodes of the main series and four episodes of the mini spin-off, Hide and Seek. Ironically, she has also been in an episode of Lucifer, which Supernatural regularly comments on.
