Jimmy Fallon Does 60 Second Interview With Paul Rudd
By Ryan Mekkes
Due to the Olympics going on right now, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon was only a five-minute long production last night. But in spite of this, Fallon still opted to interview Paul Rudd about his upcoming movie, Mute — and it was hilarious.

“I still want to make sure that we give you guys everything that you’d normally get,” Fallon told viewers shortly before introducing Rudd, who came out for a 1-minute interview — the first of its kind. Fallon then proceeded to ask him questions and would abruptly cut him off just as he was about to answer.
The whole interview was just like a normal one… except extremely condensed. But the shortened format honestly showcased just how similar many, if not all interviews are, which only made it all the more entertaining.
In spite of the tiny time frame, they still got a few questions out the way (like a normal interview), showed a Giff sized portion of the movie (like a normal interview.. sort of), and sang a little karaoke to top it all off (normal, right?) before Rudd said his goodbyes.
The whole thing can be seen here below — and it is well worth the watch. Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show writers seemingly never cease to come up with hilarious ideas. And yes, he somehow seemed to hit all of his bullet points in 60 seconds.

In addition to his movie Mute, which comes to Netflix on February 23rd, Rudd will also reprise his role as the Ant-Man in Marvel’s Infinity War, coming out on May 4th. So far, 2018 is looking good for the comedic actor.
