BritBox celebrates first birthday with U.S. exclusive premiere of Trauma, Midsomer Murders and more
BritBox turns one years old in March and is celebrating that in style. As well as bringing all 19 seasons and 333 murders of Midsomer Murders, it’s also bringing the U.S. exclusive premiere of 3-part medical drama, Trauma.
March sees the first birthday of BritBox, the subscription service that brings all the best from BBC and ITV in the U.K. It’s going to celebrate the month in style. Not only will the service bring all 19 seasons of Midsomer Murders, with a very special release time, but it’s also going to bring the U.S. exclusive of Trauma.
Trauma is the 3-part medical drama series featuring Adrian Lester and John Simm. Simm, who is best known as The Master in Doctor Who, recently choked up in a live interview about his role and the series. The series focused on Dan Bowker (Simm), who blames surgeon John Allerton (Lester) after Allerton fails to save his son. As Simm opened with the This Morning interview, it’s every parent’s worst nightmare.

The three episodes will be released over the course of the month. As Dan struggles to deal with the loss of his teenage son, he starts to delve deeper into Allerton’s life and things could start to take a dangerous turn.

- Midsomer Murders — Seasons 1-19 — Mar. 30
Midsomer Murders drops at exactly 3:33pm ET as a nod to the 333 murders from the fictional series.
