Ash vs Evil Dead season 3, episode 2 advanced preview: Booth Three

Episode 2 of Ash vs Evil Dead Season 3 airs Sunday, March 4, and we have an advanced preview of the episode titled, Booth Three.

Ash vs Evil Dead returned last week for its Season 3 premiere and with it came another threat of evil. The Necronomicon fell back into the hands of Ruby and she put a new target on Ash and the town of Elk Grove. This time is different now that Ash has a daughter to look after, whose mother was just killed.

Episode 2 gives the team a quick minute to regroup before preparing for what’s to come but there are a few obvious distractions. With new faces thrown into the mix, everyone seems a little hesitant. The Ghost Beaters don’t seem to have long before Ruby completely sets her new plan in motion.

Here is the official synopsis for Sunday’s episode “Booth Three”:

"Ruby gives birth to a new form of evil and disguises herself to form a bond with Brandy. Kelly returns with a friend who is leading the search for The Prophesized One to defeat The Dark Ones once and for all, while Ash realizes evil is out to get his daughter."

The art of multi-tasking

Ash no longer has the ability to just focus on fighting evil, he now has his daughter’s safety as a top priority. Since Candy was killed, Ash must step up and look after his newly introduced teenage daughter. The poor girl, who already feels like an outsider, is suffering from the traumatic events she just faced, while the town starts to learn she is Ashy Slashy’s daughter. The team’s focus must change to protecting not just the town but also Ash’s own flesh and blood–Brandy.

Trust goes a long way

From the interactions between Ash and Brandy from the first episode, it is safe to assume they might get off on the wrong foot. Brandy doesn’t see eye-to-eye with her father which is understandable given his reputation. Pablo is also feeling a bit of mistrust when it comes to Dalton, which may continue throughout the season. Speaking of trust, Ruby reveals her true intentions in the episode and it involves a new trusted disguise. Viewers will learn what she needed from last week’s ritual, as well as why evil targets Brandy.
