The Bachelorette Season 14: Will Becca Kufrin or Lauren Burnham star after getting dumped by Arie Luyendyk Jr.?
The Bachelor Season 22 finale promises to be one of the most shocking yet. But the drama doesn’t just involve who Arie Luyendyk Jr. will pick at the end. ABC will also announce the star of The Bachelorette Season 14 during “After The Final Rose.” So will it be Becca Kufrin or Lauren Burnham?

The press release for The Bachelor Season 22 finale confirms that the next bachelorette will be revealed on Tuesday night. Presumably, that means she will be at the “After The Final Rose” taping. The release states that Bekah Martinez, Kendall Long, Seinne Fleming and Tia Booth will be in attendance, along with Luyendyk’s Final Two, Burnham and Kufrin.
Normally, the Bachelorette is the woman who finishes in second, third or fourth on the previous Bachelor season. But there is reason to believe the star of The Bachelorette Season 14 will actually be the winner of The Bachelor Season 22.
Spoiler alert!
That’s because spoilers indicate that Kufrin wins this season of The Bachelor. Reality Steve has reported for months that Luyendyk and Kufrin got engaged while filming the finale. Hulu even spoiled the episode on Saturday, accidentally posting video of Arie’s proposal.
Since then, however, Luyendyk has had a change of heart. Reality Steve reported back in January that the Bachelor dumped Kufrin and is now dating his runner-up, Burnham.

At the time, Steve speculated that Kufrin would likely be the star of Bachelorette Season 14.
"“I’ve always said Becca will have all of America behind her, she has the best built-in storyline of any previous contestant going into the Bachelorette, and the only way she wouldn’t get the gig is if she didn’t want it. Everything I’ve been told up to this point has led me to believe she wants it, they’ve talked to her, they’ve filmed in MN, and she will be the Bachelorette.”"
And it makes a ton of sense. She has been a fan favorite on The Bachelor. And after what happens to her in the finale, viewers will want to see her find love more than ever. It would be poetic justice if she finds and marries her true love on The Bachelorette while Luyendyk’s relationship with Burnham fizzles, as many expect it will.
ABC also needs to pick a Bachelorette who is guaranteed to be a hit amongst fans. The network took a risk on this season of The Bachelor, choosing Luyendyk after the popular Peter Kraus turned them down. Fans were lukewarm on Luyendyk as The Bachelor, and the result was some of the show’s lowest ratings yet.

The network likely doesn’t want to make a similar mistake this time around. It knows that fans will be clamoring for Kufrin as the star of The Bachelorette Season 14 after seeing the finale, and we think that producers will oblige.
