The Supernatural fandom lit up with a new ship, which quickly seemed to sink. Could it be possible that Apocalypse Bobby and Mary could find love?

There were many hints in Supernatural Season 13, Episode 14 that Apocalypse Bobby had a thing for Mary. Well, at least he did for his Mary. He couldn’t stop gushing about how brave and strong she was, and there was an initial hope that Mary Campbell was still alive. That smile he had when he shared how Mary had saved him numerous times was beautiful.

Now the big question is whether this is a ship that could become a thing. Many in the SPNFamily showed they wanted it.

There was a connection between the two that crosses worlds—but that’s where the problem is. They’re from different worlds. Mary wants to get back to her boys and Bobby has stated he’s needed in his. This puts a huge spanner in the works. Will either of them change their mind and go to/stay in each other’s world for this relationship to work?

Is it even a relationship we really need to happen?

Well, definitely yes to it needing to happen. Bobby and Mary would be awesome together. Both are skilled hunters with big hearts for the Winchester brothers. Okay, Apocalypse Bobby doesn’t know them yet, but he can get to know them if he goes to their world. Mary had a hard time last season, but she’s realized how important a life with her sons is.

Plus, both of them deserve some happiness. Apocalypse Bobby has looked after refugees in his camp, using his knowledge to keep people protected from the angels. He’s tried damn hard to make sure they’re safe and he’s clearly loved and lost. It’s time he got some happiness out of it.

As for Mary, it’s time for her to move on. It’s going to be hard for her, since she came from a world where John was still alive. For her, he’s only been dead a year or so, but it is time for her to move on and that is possible with Bobby.

While there have been plenty of Supernatural ships I’ve not paid much attention to, this is one that I can totally get on board with. It makes a world (or two) of sense and the two could be awesome for each other. They just need to get over the fact they are from two different worlds and that means one needs to live in the other’s world.

If Mary sticks around in the Apocalypse World, Jack could stay too and become an adoptive son for them. Anyone else on board with that?
