If the phrase “there’s no rest for the wicked” rings true, Allison Janney must be secretly very, very evil.

More from CBS

The morning after winning her first (if you can believe it) Academy Award on Sunday for her turn as LaVona Fay Golden, the mother of Margot Robbie’s Tonya Harding, in last year’s I, Tonya, Janney returned to work on her Anna Faris co-starring CBS sitcom Mom.

According to this report by Entertainment Weekly, the cast started off their table read yesterday morning with a speech from Faris and a toast with apple cider in honor of Janney’s big win. The show’s producers gifted the heavily accoladed star, who jokingly started off her acceptance speech saying “I did it all by myself,” with a bouquet of 90 roses.

Janney brought her Oscar to the table read and even passed it around to her co-stars, with plenty of Instagram and Twitter posts to prove it.

Having previously won seven Primetime Emmy Awards, including two for her role as recovering alcoholic Bonnie Plunkett in Mom, and now an Oscar, Janney is now halfway to the coveted EGOT status held by other stars like Whoopi Goldberg and Rita Moreno. With two Tony nominations under her belt, sensibly, the stage would appear to be the next entertainment platform Janney should grace.

During a commercial break, Janney reunited with former Mom recurring guest star Octavia Spencer. In addition the duo posed for a picture with Viola Davis. All three starred in the Oscar winning 2011 film The Help.

Janney has done pretty well for herself this awards season. Having won a BAFTA, a Golden Globe, a Critics’ Choice Award, and a Screen Actor Guild Award, among others, I’m certain she will be needing to add another mantle to hold all that hardware.

Mom airs Thursdays at 9/8c on CBS.
