Netflix has dropped the second season of Jessica Jones on Thursday, March 8. Fans of the heroine, and Marvel fans in general, are busy binge-watching the series or counting down the hours until they leave work or school to watch.
There are many things to keep an eye out for while watching the new season, from Trish Walker’s Hellcat, her new boyfriend, and Jessica Jones’ alcohol intake (hint on this one: it’s a lot). But one thing all Marvel fans are always on the look out for are Stan Lee’s brief, but always enjoyable, cameos.

Finished watching all 13 episode of Jessica Jones Season 2 and didn’t spot Lee? Don’t be too hard on yourself, it is very easy to miss! A blink-and-you-miss-it shot. In fact, if memory serves me right, I believe this is Lee’s shortest “cameo” yet, if it can even be called that.
You can find Lee in episode 9, “AKA Shark in the Bathtub, Monster in Bed,” right around 33 minutes and 24 seconds. Stan Lee’s photo is on the back of a bus, as an advertisement for Forbush and Associates, which turns out is a real company. It’s a testimonial quoting Lee: “Forbush and Associates got me $5.2 million!”
At his age (the comic-book creator is 95-years-old), it’s difficult for Stan Lee to continue traveling to film these short scenes. Appearances such as this one are probably what we can expect to see from now on. It’s sad that we won’t be seeing him personally star in future projects, but we’re so glad Marvel is able to continue honoring and giving Lee credit for his work one way or another!
Jessica Jones Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix.
