Supernatural Inside: A new writing team with a fresh style

The Supernatural Inside sneak peek gives us an idea of things to expect in Supernatural Season 13, Episode 15.

“A Most Holy Man” airs tonight and it’s the first episode with a new writing team. At least, that’s what Robert Singer says in the Supernatural Inside YouTube clip.

That writing team? Well, you already know them: Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb. Yes, our showrunners are penning an episode together. Both have penned episodes together in the past, but not together in the past, so it’s certainly going to be interesting.

It should be good fun. They have worked together now for the last season and a half, and Season 13 has been the best season in a few years. There’s been a little more focus on Sam (although we would like more) and plenty of throwbacks to seasons past.

Supernatural Season 13, Episode 15 is going to be a little different. It’s got a more of a gangster/noir feel to it and that’s something both our showrunners wanted to include.

The episode looks focused on Sam and Dean as they gather the ingredients for the rift spell. They need the blood of a most holy man, which Sam believes is a saint. Sure, that’s perfectly easy to find, right? Well, that explains why they end up at the black market of religious artifacts. Just where will they find the blood of a saint though, and why doesn’t Castiel know what this is?
