Why Camille and Brandi need to return to RHOBH next season

This season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has now reached its mid-point, but we’re already feeling like we need to see a few fan favorites return next season.

After eight seasons of RHOBH, many housewives have cycled through the franchise that has essentially fused with pop-culture. From the epic “dinner party from hell” to the iconic Richards sisters feud with Brandi, there have been countless GIF worthy scenes and surprisingly authentic moments on a show that caters to an over-the-top lifestyle. This season, Dorit has taken steps into becoming a series “villain,” which has prompted original housewife Camille to return and rival the woman with an accent nobody can quite place. We witnessed Camille brush past Dorit in a hallway while calling her silly, and later gave her a ball gag in response to Dorit’s inability to “keep her mouth shut” solidifying she’s ready to get her diamond back.

Camille has shown up in brief cameos since her departure in Season 2, but until now we hadn’t seen her feel so confident and comfortable in front of the cameras. In just half of a season with limited appearances, she’s worked her way up in popularity and would make a great full-time housewife, as long as we are gifted with a few more glimpses of classic Camille.

Another casting choice that would be revitalizing to the series would be potentially bringing back the polarizing Brandi Glanville. While there are probably a few who would refuse to film with Brandi back in the picture, she has always been a lightning rod in RHOBH that would manage to keep everyone on their toes. The controversial housewife with an appreciation for her wine prides herself on being unfiltered, which (in doses) brings the Beverly Hills ladies out of their comfort zone. After Brandi’s recent stint on Celebrity Big Brother, she proved to make great television as someone who took on strategy but still stayed true to who she is – something that additionally makes a great Real Housewife.

So far, a majority of the women have all seemed very reluctant to really take a stance or get involved in any real storyline that pertains to a group, therefore many feel that the series would benefit from a little shake-up amongst the cast. If we’ve witnessed the drama filled return of Danielle Staub in RHONJ we have reason to believe that housewife dreams can come true, so hopefully Bravo manages to bring back the two villains-turned-heroes when next season goes into production.
