How to watch 9-1-1 Season 1, Episode 9 live online: Trapped
Nightmares are coming true, as 9-1-1’s penultimate episode focuses on a mother and son trapped in a flooding elevator.
If you thought just getting trapped in an elevator was scary, the 9-1-1 penultimate Season 1 episode is going to give you even more nightmares. A mother and son call for the first responders when they become trapped in an elevator. The big issue is the basement is flooded and the weight of the water is pulling the elevator further down.
It looks like the mother gets out, but the son and Buck are left trapped in the elevator. Buck gets the son out first, but his head goes underwater. Will it be the end of the young firefighter? Just watching the trailer makes my heart pump, as it’s playing into my worst nightmare. I’m feeling a lot like I did while watching the plane crash where the mother was trapped.

As the trailer focuses on that storyline, there are others things happening. Buck and his relationship with Abby is on the rocks, due to Abby’s mother’s condition. It was so sweet when he came to help search for her mom without actually knowing who she was. However, now he’ll start to realize the true struggles of looking after a sick parent.
Athena will also be a focus, as she enters the dating pool. She’s ready to move on. Well, she thinks she is. Just how will the first date go? There’s also a case of a homeless man crushed by a garbage truck.

The stakes are high in this episode. Next week is the season finale, so there has to be something big. 9-1-1 Season 2 has already (unsurprisingly) been confirmed, so there’s room to play with storylines and stretch them out into the next season.
