Yes folks, our second and probably final look at Avengers: Infinity War is here. A new trailer dropped today, providing us with glimpses at the upcoming war.

More from Marvel Movies

Whether you’ve seen the first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War or not, the new one is something no Marvel fan should miss. The reason being, is that the second trailer fills in the gaps left by the first. For instance, Loki presenting the Tesseract to an unknown individual.

The first trailer shows Loki handing the Space Stone to someone. We didn’t know who it was but thanks to the newest trailer, we can confirm that Loki gives the Tesseract to Thanos; evidenced by the Black Order surrounding Loki and Thanos crushing the artifact in his hand.

Additionally, the second trailer for Avengers: Infinity War gives us much more to ponder over. In lieu of that, we’ve compiled together a grouping of moments that’ll undoubtedly make for spectacular scenes in the film:

History of Thanos explored

One of the most revealing images in the trailer depicts Thanos on an alien planet, Gamora’s to be precise. We can see a young Gamora walking hand in hand with the Mad Titan. He’s also surrounded by a legion who are presumably under his control. After seeing this, it’s pretty obvious that we’ll witness Thanos’ takeover of the universe before he sets his sights on Earth. The question is, has he driven Gamora’s people to extinction doing it?

Thor uses weapons forge to create Jarnbjorn

After Thor’s hammer was shattered in Thor: Ragnarok, it became pretty clear that he’d use a new weapon in any following bouts. There was no clue as to what he’d carry but the Lego sets seemed to have confirmed that Thor will brandish the axe, Janbjorn. The latest trailer for Avengers: Infinity War adds evidence to back that claim up, what with Thor summoning lightning and raising his hand to retrieve an unseen weapon.

The Avengers assemble in Wakanda

While we’ve seen the Avengers engaged in battle with the Outriders, there was no telling how they’d join together. Now, however, it looks like the Avengers will meet with T’Challa and Shuri to organize a battle plan; shots of the Avengers landing in Wakanda and riding into battle being evidence of this team-up at play.

Iron Man can turn his leg boosters into giant propulsion engine

If you’ve been keeping up with all the latest Avengers: Infinity War updates, then you’ve probably heard of Iron Man’s development of Bleeding Edge. With that piece of tech, Tony Stark can transform his suit into whatever he needs it to be.

The trailer above shows Iron Man switching from two small jet boosters to a massive one that allows him to fly much faster. What’s interesting about this huge boost in thrust is that it could be used against Thanos. He can stop almost anything with his bare hands but if Iron Man is so fast that he can’t see him, he might be able to wrestle the gauntlet from the Mad Titan.

Ebony Maw torturing Doctor Strange for Time Stone

In one of the first full looks at Ebony Maw, he’s bringing down the pain on Doctor Strange. The trailer depicts Ebony Maw using his magical abilities to form weapons from the Mirror Dimensions; weapons that appear to have immobilized Strange. It’s yet to be seen if Strange can break free but the situation doesn’t look like it’ll end good. Though, we can probably count on Ebony Maw taking the Time Stone from Strange during this confrontation.

Captain America attempts to take the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos

The final image of intrigue depicts Captain America fighting Thanos. This is the first time we’ve seen Cap in direct conflict with Thanos and it looks like their fight will take place in the film’s climax.

Regardless of whether or not that’s what happens, Cap appears to be on the verge of taking the gauntlet off of Thanos hand. Cap has his hands on the gauntlet and he’s pulling with all of his might. The final shot in the trailer shows him screaming, as if he’s put all of his strength into one final push so that may be a sign of Cap getting a hold of the gauntlet.

What else does the Avengers: Infinity War trailer reveal?
