After all of the lead up and mystery, Westworld has finally released a full trailer for their second season.

More from HBO

It seems like common sense, but at this point you should definitely beware of spoilers for this series. When we left off with the hosts of the Westworld park they had awakened and started a violent revolt against those that had mistreated them for so many years. Dolores was seemingly leading a horde of artificially intelligent hosts into the freedom of fighting for their rights to live.

We pick up with the second season as Dolores is in combat mode, Maeve is looking for her ‘daughter,’ Bernard knows his true origins, The Man in Black finally has the world he wanted, Robert Ford is dead and Elsie and Ashley are still missing in action somewhere within the park. Check out the trailer below for some hints of what will be happening in this season of Westworld.

It looks like we will finally get to see the other attraction in addition to Old West, that is the seemingly samurai inspired park that we see Maeve making her way through. Will she awaken the ninjas and sword wielding samurai within to her cause? That remains to be seen, but she does seem to be the liberator of the hosts. We also get to see a strong military style response to the revolt of the hosts and the oncoming clash between the two. It is safe to say the fans have been waiting for this with baited breath.

We do find out that Tessa Thompson’s character is still alive and ends up with the park crew at some point. It also looks like Dolores might get to see the outside world which would truly be a revelation for her and the rest of the world. There are multiple scenes with Bernard and Dolores speaking again so they must reunite at some point. There is also apparently another flashback for the Man in Black and how he became the man he is today.
