It’s been a season of ups, downs, and nostalgic guest star returns, but the first season of the Will & Grace comes to a close with a finale full of surprises. When the sitcom returns for Season 10 in the fall (and then Season 11 the next fall — score!), our core four will find their lives in a continued state of transition as Karen and Jack take the next steps in their personal lives and Will and Grace… Well, they’ll still be figuring it out.
Picking up where last week’s “to be continued” left off, Grace’s father moves into the apartment, but as an act of revenge for Will, Grace invites his mother (guest star Blythe Danner) for the weekend. Unfortunately for their children, Martin and Marilyn forge an unforeseen connection. It wouldn’t be an episode of Will & Grace if Grace’s plan didn’t backfire. Elsewhere, Karen chooses between Malcolm and Stan, and Jack bounces back from his breakup with flying colors.
