Maci Bookout’s friend speaks out about Teen Mom parenting

Maci Bookout’s friend Raj recently spoke out about Maci and Taylor McKinney’s parenting and he’s taking notes.

Maci Bookout has gone through quite a bit over the past year, as she has struggled to keep her family together. She knew that Ryan Edwards wasn’t sober after a brief stint in treatment and she decided to keep Bentley to herself so Ryan couldn’t drive with him while under the influence. Bookout hasn’t faced criticism over her actions, but Ryan was so mad that he threatened to shoot Taylor McKinney in the head and hurt Maci so he could have Bentley.

But behind the scenes, it sounds like Maci Bookout is getting plenty of support when it comes to her parenting. It’s no secret that Maci doesn’t show everything on Teen Mom OG when it comes to parenting. Only a few conversations or scenes are shared on the show every week. However, one of Maci’s oldest friends Raj recently spoke out about her parenting.

As it turns out, he’s giving both Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney lots of parenting credit. On Twitter, he revealed that he was taking lots of notes when he spent time with them for the future. He has been a friend for years, so Maci revealed that she was happy he was giving her credit, pointing out that it was hard to be a good parent.

Of course, not many of Maci’s friendships are featured on the show. Since Maci and the other girls only get so much airtime each week, the friendships may take a backseat to the drama that’s playing out, including Ryan Edwards’ drug use. MTV finds that storyline more important than parenting this season.
