A24 is set to have an interesting year at the movies in 2018 with Under the Silver Lake, Eighth Grade, and more. It’s time to countdown the top movies from A24’s catalog.

Films ranging from Palme d’Or nominee, Under the Silver Lake, to the Bo Burnham coming of age teen dramedy, Eighth Grade, are set to release this year and, with that, it feels appropriate to look back at the absolute best of A24’s catalog.

A24 has worked incredibly hard for the privilege of slowly being considered a household name. Is it a distribution company on the level of Warner Bros. or Disney? Absolutely not. At the same time, it’s difficult to consider A24 to be a company that aims for such a prestigious level. It doesn’t mean that the company isn’t interested in making a profit though. One of a company’s biggest priorities, if not their biggest, is to make a profit to help prosper and fund more ambitious projects in the future. If 2018 is any indication, it will be a year chalk full of ambitious projects, ones that hopefully pay off for the company.

It is this incoming wave of A24 films that make one look back at their filmography and figure exactly which films of theirs are the best and most noteworthy. From its conception in 2013, A24 has released a slew of films, each ranging in quality and replay factor.

In the 5 years since its beginning, what are the ones that have managed to stand out since their release? Here, I highlight, what is in my opinion, the 10 best A24 films to have come out so far. While this is more of a personal list, there should be a little bit of everything for every type of film fan, hardcore or casual. On to the list!
