If you’re not going out on vacation this summer (or at least staying in during the month of May), Netflix has you covered!

Netflix’s menu of TV and movies is about to expand. What will the month of May bring our way? Prepare to cancel all weekend plans you may already have had. The steaming service’s lineup has many Netflix Originals (and a very cool movie we bet you haven’t seen in a while) coming our way!

Close the blinds, grab a large bucket of popcorn, and get comfy on your couch — here are five movies entering the streaming giant in May not to miss…

John Mulaney: Kid Gorgeous at Radio City – May 1

While not technically a “movie,” this stand-up is over an hour of laughs, so we’re considering it a comedy feature! John Mulaney is hilarious! Kick off the month with some LOL’s and be sure you check out this Kid Gorgeous!

More from Netflix

Synopsis: John Mulaney relays stories from his childhood and SNL, eviscerates the value of college and laments getting older in this electric comedy special.

End Game – May 4

Are you into medical dramas? This is nothing like that. In fact, if you’re used to the complications and story lines featured on Grey’s Anatomy or Chicago Med, you may be in for a shock. End Game is a documentary that follows the ups and downs of medical practitioners working on the “cutting edge of life and death.” Check out the synopsis below…

SynopsisWhere will loved ones spend their last days? Who will be in the room? What feelings and secrets need to be shared with family before it is too late? Acclaimed Academy Award-winning filmmakers Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman (The Times of Harvey Milk, The Celluloid Closet, Paragraph 175) probe these questions and more in the context of two San Francisco Bay Area medical facilities on the forefront of creating new paradigms for end of life decisions with grace.

The Kissing Booth – May 11

Need to recover from some of the events you watched unfold in End Game? Tune in to catch The Kissing Booth! A romantic comedy following Elle Evans (Joey King) a young girl who has never been kissed before. To finally be kissed, she runs a kissing booth at her high school. But what she didn’t expect is to kiss her secret crush — Noah Flynn (Jacob Elordi). Both seem to get along, but there’s just one problem: Noah is the brother of her best friend Lee (Joel Courtney), and the two made a pact that makes family off-limits. What will Elle do?

Wanted – May 16

No, this isn’t a new movie or a Netflix Original. This is the 2008 action thriller starring Angelina Jolie! Reported exclusively by E! News, the movie, which also stars James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman, will make its Netflix debut on May 16. The movie is turning 10 years old this year, so it’s a perfect way to celebrate its anniversary.

Cargo – May 18

After a violent pandemic, a father, who is infected himself, is desperate to find a safe home to leave his infant daughter. This movie is based on the 2013 short of the same name, so if you’ve seen it, the plot of the movie is already spoiled. Or is it? We have a feeling this full-length feature on Netflix will add plenty of surprises! Many of these new twists can already be seen in the trailer above.
