Good Witch season 4, episode 4 advanced preview: Family Time

Ahead of Sunday’s new Good Witch, we’ve got your extensive look at the fourth hour of Season 4, “Family Time,” including details on the episode, first-look photos and more!

When we last left off in Episode 3 of Good Witch‘s fourth season, Abigail’s (Sarah Power) emotional struggles with the reappearance of her father took center stage as we watched Abigail work through the fallout of her dad’s surprise return. While their reunion got off to a rocky start, the estranged father and daughter soon managed to mend some of their broken fences and parted on good terms – after a little nudge in the right direction from Cassie (Catherine Bell).

Speaking of Cassie, Episode 3 found Cassie working to help two expecting parents overcome their fears of the change bringing a child into the world would bring to their lives. Elsewhere, Grace (Bailee Madison) began to ponder her future after some advice from Sam (James Denton), while Martha (Catherine Disher) worked on a campaign to inspire the future businesswomen of Middleton.

As we return to Middleton this Sunday night in “Family Time,” Cassie and Sam arrange for a special getaway to the lake house with Grace and Nick (Rhys Matthew Bond) which they hope to use as the perfect opportunity to bond as a soon-to-be family. While their trip hits a series of setbacks in the form of a wave of distractions, it does present a defining moment for Grace who realizes the importance of standing by those you care for.

Back in Middleton, Abigail steps in for Cassie to help run Grey House and she quickly discovers just how much work goes into making it such a magical experience for guests. Meanwhile, Martha sets off on a mission with some help from two familiar faces in hopes of discovering the meaning of a mysterious box discovered at Bell, Book & Candle.

Now for the week’s spoiler-y bits:

Expect Abigail to attempt to meddle in the love lives of Grey House’s latest guests while running the place in Cassie’s absence.
The discover of the meaning of the aforementioned mystery box is said to bring with it a “life-changing” realization.
Grace’s reminder of the importance of standing by family will stem from a difficult decision she must make when Nick finds himself in a troublesome situation.
