Lucifer makes the weekly social list proving #SaveLucifer should succeed!

Fans have been campaigning to #SaveLucifer hard and all that hard work should pay off after Lucifer made the weekly top 10 list.

As soon as FOX announced that Lucifer would not be returning for another season fans have been campaigning hard. #SaveLucifer and #PickUpLucifer have been regular visitors in Twitter feeds.

It’s not just been fans either. Cast and crew of the show have been campaigning hard as well. Tom Ellis, who plays Lucifer Morningstar, recently appeared on BBC Newsnight about the shock cancellation.

Unfortunately, nothing has happened so far. No network has come forward to save the show. We have had some networks explain why they will not pick up Lucifer but that is about it.

But, with the most recent report showing that Lucifer made it into the weekly top ten social ratings, surely this is what is needed for #SaveLucifer to succeed.

The weekly top 10 list

It came ahead of both Supernatural and S.W.A.T. who were both airing their season finale episodes this week. Grey’s Anatomy did come ahead but it was an extra special episode for them as not only was it their season finale but two of the major cast members finale episodes. So this was expected.

This is clearly an obvious sign that it is worth being picked up. The demand is there and fans are willing to support the show. Fingers crossed this will be exactly what will turn things around and we will be hearing soon that Lucifer has indeed been saved.
