The key demo and the total audience figures for the Supernatural Season 13 finale ticked up. What are the final ratings for the season?

The Supernatural Season 13 finale ratings are in with delayed viewing included. The total audience and key demo figures both ticked up from the previous week, giving a fairly strong performance for the final block of the season.

With the finale figures, it’s possible to check out the average for the season as a whole. Just how did the season do compared to the previous season?

More from Supernatural

The key demo and total audience were both up by 25%. In fact, the key demo’s uptick was exactly 25%, bringing the viewing figure for the night at 0.50. The total audience figures sat at 1.632 million, showing a 25.73% increase from the previous week. This is good compared to Season 12’s finale, which didn’t see a change in viewer numbers at all from the previous week (although the figures were a little higher than Season 13 overall).

A lack of sport taking over CW’s network will definitely have an effect on the ratings for the show. The CW might want to take note of this for next season. The SPN Family wants its Supernatural!

The overall season average

Supernatural Season 13 is down in terms of the 18-49 key demo from Season 12. The key demo is 0.55 (7.91% down) for the season. This does include the Thanksgiving episode, which may have been classed as a special by Nielsen. If so, the key demo average would be 0.565, which is still a 6.66% change. Quite apt for the season finale.

The total audience figures saw an uptick overall from Supernatural Season 12. With all 23 episodes totaled up, the average is 1.687 million, which is a 0.73% increase. If the Thanksgiving episode is taken out of the equation, the total audience figure is 1.70 million, which is a 1.49% increase from the previous season.

Overall, it was a mixed season. The whole production had some high and low points, which you can see in the viewing figures.
