Riverdale season 2: You can now binge-watch the Black Hood mystery on Netflix
By Reed Gaudens
Ready to return to Riverdale ahead of Season 3? As luck would have it, you can now stream Season 2 on Netflix and find out who is the Black Hood.
Let’s all take a second to be honest. Even though Riverdale had fans out of breath for the entirety of Season 2, we miss it. Wednesdays just don’t feel right without Betty and Jughead investigating a murder, Archie making reckless decisions, and Cheryl showing off superhero skills out of the clear blue sky. (Seriously, what was that?!) Thankfully, we can finally binge-watch and re-watch the complete second season on Netflix right now.
As previously announced, Season 2 of Riverdale begins streaming on Netflix on Thursday, May 24, one week removed from the twisty finale that left more questions lingering in the air than answers. More than likely, fans will be eager to return to the town with pep for another look at all the missed clues regarding the Black Hood mystery. And should Riverdale follow suit with last season’s streaming debut, Season 2’s drop will hook even more new fans for Season 3.
More from Netflix
- Bridgerton season 3: All the details to know about Penelope and Colin’s love story
- It’s a slow week on Netflix with only three new releases (Nov. 20)
- Exploding Kittens: From card game to Netflix animated series starring Tom Ellis
- The Crown and more Netflix shows and movies to stream this week (November 13)
- Escaping Twin Flames and more harrowing love-centered documentaries to watch on Netflix
If you’ll be catching up with The CW’s dark teen thriller, here’s what to expect from the addictive sophomore run. Before the Love, Simon promo episode and the Carrie musical hour, the second season picks up where the first season’s shocking cliffhanger left off. A mysterious masked assailant barges into Pop’s and holds Fred and Archie at gunpoint. Before darting out of the diner, the man later known as Black Hood shoots Fred, leaving him fighting for his life.
What ensues in Riverdale rivals some of the most notorious power struggles we’ve ever seen on TV. Emily Clarke and Victoria Grayson’s cat-and-mouse feud on Revenge looks like an afternoon tea compared to the all-out war that erupts between the North and South Sides. From Archie pledging allegiance to Victoria’s mobster father to Jughead joining the Serpents, nothing stays the same in Riverdale’s second season, including Archer Cheryl. (Yes, we’re still on that!)
