Timeless has been dominating the internet recently but the release of a Timeless deleted scene has pretty much set the internet on fire!

Timeless is everywhere right now. People who have never watched the show know exactly what Timeless is. Why? Because Clockblockers have made it their mission to make sure Timeless returns for a third season.

Fans have made sure #RenewTimeless appears everywhere, regardless if it is related to the show or not. They got creative by hi-jacking all of NBC’s promotional tweets. They made sure it broke into the top ten social ratings, beating the likes of Grey’s Anatomy and The Big Bang Theory. Wherever you go on the internet, there is a Clockblocker about somewhere.

Heck, Timeless even made it to the royal wedding!

But, the release of a Timeless deleted scene has caused a whole different chain of events.

Deleted scene

The writers of Timeless decided to offer a deleted scene if they managed to get 5,000 likes and 2,500 retweets. That happened, obviously, in less than three hours.

So, true to their word, they released the deleted scene, titled “Pool Scene.” That clip has, at the time of writing, been up for less than 24 hours and has almost 100,000 views, and that is just on Twitter by the way. The clip is also up on YouTube and other social networks and it is making headlines everywhere a well.

Deleted scenes do not normally perform as well as this. Deleted scenes for movies do well, but not TV series. Chicago P.D. for example. Another NBC series that is rated higher than Timeless, released a deleted scene two days ago and it has only reached 10,000 views. It has been up twice as long, but only has a tenth of the views.

Next: Why if season 3 doesn’t happen it will be ok!

NBC, once again, this is very, very clear evidence that you need to #RenewTimeless!
