With many TV shows and movies being added and removed from Netflix every month, there are so many great shows that should be considered to be added.

American Netflix has many good shows and movies on it already, but it is missing some very popular and raved about ones as well. TV shows and movies are added and taken off Netflix all the time, so it shouldn’t be much of a hassle to add a few more, which are all crowd-pleasers.

Here are five shows that need adding to Netflix.

More from Netflix

Starring (and directed by) Donald Glover, or his stage name: Childish Gambino, the show became popular in an instant. Atlanta was soon after its initial release date renewed for a second season. The show gives viewers insight into the life of Earnest “Earn” Marks and his everyday struggles as a father, aspiring artist, and struggling adult in Atlanta, Georgia.

This series should be added to Netflix because it shines a light on real-life issues, race, poverty, and many more topics that need to be talked about more.

The Big Bang Theory

While the continuity of The Big Bang Theory has been a controversial topic, it has stayed a popular TV show for over a decade now, and for good reason. This show is a comedy sitcom with something for basically every type of viewer. There’s science talk for viewers that like non-fiction, there’s romance for viewers that like romance, and comedy for people who like to laugh, which doesn’t single out many viewers.

This series should be added to Netflix because of its heartwarming qualities and longevity of screenplay. I mean, it’s been airing and getting good ratings since 2006, shouldn’t it be a little bit more accessible?

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Approaching its sixth season, Brooklyn Nine-Nine has quickly become a fan favorite series, and it’s not hard to get why. The series features Jake Peralta, played by Andy Samberg, who is the main character of the show, and often viewers’ favorite character because of his inappropriately hilarious humor and nonsensical personality. The rest of the cast is just as great, bringing an ordinary police department precinct to life.

This series should be added to Netflix because it was an instant and ongoing success, springing laughter and amusement from viewers who have even only seen clips. Making the series more accessible to the United States would only make it more successful (not to mention how many viewers would thank Netflix for not having to deal with buffering and bad quality anymore).

Game of Thrones

This series was based on a series of books, and now is being created beyond the books as well, and we don’t see many people complaining. Game of Thrones is easily one of the most popular TV shows of this generation and even the last. The show is known for how it challenges the stereotypes and expectations of entertainment, plot, and boundaries. While much of the show depicts taboo subjects, some of these elements are what keep people watching every week.

This series should be added to Netflix because of its growing popularity and pushing of boundaries. Everyone and their mother (literally) watches this show, so making a little easier to watch would have a very positive reaction from viewers. The show has been created and shared through HBO, but people already paying for Netflix would probably be eternally grateful to get rid of one payment a month.

This Is Us

This Is Us is a series on NBC that pulls at your heartstrings. The show features one family and their own individual lives, as they grow up from an unexpected but heartwarming starting point. Only being premiered for less than two years, the show and cast have been nominated for multiple awards, such as The Golden Globe Awards, The Critic’s Choice Awards, and even received 10 Emmy nominations in 2017.

This series should be added to Netflix because it’s a show that makes you happy cry, sad cry, all the crying, and all in a good way. The show has been a hit since the start and has captured many viewers’ hearts with its complex and develop driven characters and show-stopping moments.
