The Man in the High Castle Season 3 tentative release date?

After TV Time removed June as a release date for The Man in the High Castle Season 3, eyes are back on for any news about the alternate history series. Could fall 2018 be time for a drop?
The Man in the High Castle Season 3 dropped a teaser trailer back in October 2017 and we’d hoped that it would mean the third season was around the corner. Months have gone by and we still don’t have a premiere date. There was hope it would drop in June based on TV Time, but then that date was removed and we were left scratching our heads. Now it looks like we may have a more reliable release date.
Matt Webb Mitvoch released another Matt’s Inside Line for TVLine earlier this month. This is where he answers a series of questions on a variety of shows, and The Man in the High Castle Season 3 came up at the end. One fan wanted to know if there was a date for the release yet.

Mitvoch shared that he’s heard it will be sometime in the fall. That’s a three month period and a lot later than we expected after the teaser trailer at New York Comic-Con 2017, but at least we get a rough date that is a little more reliable. While Mitvoch didn’t share his source, he often talks to showrunners and actors to get spoilers for the various shows and other snippets on other shows have certainly proven correct in the past.

This is just a tentative release date for now. The good thing about the series is once you get the first episode, you’ll have them all. This is what takes the show so long—it’s a big and expensive production and all episodes need to be fully filmed and edited to drop everything at once.
Understandably, the wait is excruciating for all of us. We have so many questions after that explosive Season 2 finale. Will Frank survive (considering the actor is now moving into The CW’s Charmed)? What will happen to Joe now he’s been arrested by the Nazis? Is there any hope for Julianna and the resistance?
