13 Reasons Why Season 3: When will it be on Netflix?
Netflix has officially confirmed 13 Reasons Why Season 3. Now all eyes are on when it will drop on the streaming service.
Was there really any surprise in 13 Reasons Why being renewed for a third season? The Netflix Original may not be comfortable viewing and it has raised some questions about how beneficial it is for those struggling with some of the topics raised, but it also raises awareness and has drawn people in considerably. And after the shocking cliffhanger at the end of the second season, the story really does need to wrap up.
There are a few things that we already know for certain about the 13 Reasons Why Season 3. It will have 13 episodes, like the previous two, and Katherine Langford is not returning. The latter isn’t surprising, as it did seem like Hannah’s storyline had wrapped with the second season finale. The focus is now on Jessica and Tyler.

In fact, Langford explained that she let Hannah go at the end of the first season. The second season was a chance for Clay to let her go.
Brian Yorkey did previously share that if a third season was picked up, it would be a look at the kids. He wants to move them forward in their lives while dealing with the assaults and experiences each one has gained.
When will Netflix drop 13 Reasons Why Season 3?
Netflix was extremely quiet about the release date of the second season. The date was set just weeks before the full season dropped, with not even the actors being able to share anything on Twitter. This is likely to happen again this time. All that Netflix has said so far is that the season will drop in 2019.
If the streaming service works the way the previous seasons, we could expect to see 13 Reasons Why Season 3 in July 2019. The first season dropped at the end of March and the second season in the middle of May. This gives the production team time to film all episodes and arrange the editing.
