About the role: Streep gave her voice to Mrs. Fox, in a story about a husband who would do whatever it took to show his wife that he loved him. She was loving and kind, even when he made some of the worst decisions going. When it all came to it, she was on his side and had his back, with a few surprises up her sleeve.
Simply the best: Most animation movies now have big names attached to them, but that wasn’t always the case. At the time of Fantastic Mr. Fox, nobody would have expected the likes of George Clooney and Meryl Streep to be attached. And nobody definitely expected it to be the success that it was.
Streep added emotion and pure love to her role of Mrs. Fox. We fell in love and realized why Mr. Fox was so passionate and caring towards her. Streep and Clooney made these roles come to life.
