Big Brother 20 begins on June 27 this summer, setting up the return for Big Brother: After Dark later in that same week. It’s one of two companion shows for the reality competition in 2018.

Big Brother: After Dark premieres on June 29 at 1 a.m. PT/ET. It’s a three-hour episode, catching up viewers on what has been taking place on the live feeds. From there, the show will really take off, with episodes each night of the week. For new viewers of the After Dark show, it covers what takes place on the live feeds, giving television viewers a chance to watch what happens outside of the structured episodes on CBS.

The Big Brother: After Dark schedule

Pop is airing the nightly episodes of the show, and the network is advertising that it begins on June 28. This is to not confuse viewers, as it will begin late-night after the Thursday episode of Big Brother 20. If producers follow a similar schedule, the first member of the BB20 cast could get evicted on the June 28 CBS episode. CBS already revealed the 16 new houseguests for the 2018 summer season.

Following the 9 p.m. PT/ET Big Brother 20 episode on June 28, there is a three-hour gap until the season premiere of Big Brother: After Dark takes place. This is how it has been set up so that when the Big Brother 20 episode ends on the West Coast, the East Coast can start watching After Dark.

The schedule for Big Brother 20

As previously revealed, the Big Brother 20 schedule will have episodes on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays each week. This will be a very familiar schedule to fans who have watched the show for a while. The only slight adjustment is that Wednesday night episodes will air an hour later this summer. After the June 27 season premiere at 8/7c, the show will slide back to 9/8c on July 4. Sunday will remain at 8/7c and Thursday will stay at 9/8c.

Big Brother fans, it’s time to start getting excited about the show. There is less than a week until the Big Brother 20 season premiere and then the first footage for Big Brother: After Dark will also become available. Until then, there is still time to hope that CBS gives a sneak peek of the upcoming season on the live feeds.
