In the latest episode of Take Two, Sam and Eddie take on a mysterious case of a Hollywood producer and his murdered mistress. But why is Sam on trial?

Are you greedy for justice? And also more Take Two? Following last week’s series premiere, which found fallen actress Sam Swift and lone wolf private investigator Eddie Valetik officially teaming up, this unlikely duo’s accepting their next case. They have defeated the leading organized crime leader in Los Angeles, and now it’s time to defend a Hollywood heavyweight producer. But wait… Why is Sam the one on trial?

An image from the latest episode of Take Two depicts what could be a crossover of How To Get Away with Murder as Sam’s on the wrong side of the court, and Eddie’s the one seemingly defending her. There must be more to this story, as she’s been on the straight and narrow since her release from rehab and subsequent career change. Outside of the curious court proceedings, Sam and Eddie take on the case of producer who claims he’s innocent, despite being found standing over the body of his mistress. Once again, there’s much more to this investigation.

"While working surveillance on a routine cheating spouse case, Sam and Eddie hear gunshots and race in to catch a Hollywood producer standing over the body of his mistress, clutching a smoking gun. It’s case-closed as far as Eddie or any cop is concerned. But when the producer insists he’s innocent, Sam agrees to take on his case, much to Eddie’s chagrin. When their initial inquiries uncover that the producer’s mistress isn’t who she claimed to be, the pair are thrust into an investigation where not everything is as it seems."
