Zachary Quinto suggests Tarantino’s Star Trek may have Kelvin timeline actors

Quentin Tarantino’s new Star Trek may include the original 2009 rebooted franchise movie cast. How would this run in-line with S.J. Clarkson’s directed flick?

Star Trek has an interesting piece of info brought to you by Zachary Quinto. He weighed in on Quentin Tarantino’s own movie, according to CBR via Happy Sad Confused Podcast. Quinto suggested that the cast from the 2009 and beyond reboot may be joining Quentin on this project.

Back in May, Simon Pegg assured fans that Tarantino’s idea of Star Trek won’t be a “Pulp Fiction in space”. So hopefully this will put fans’ minds at ease, according to SyFy.

This can come into question how would this fourth installment work along with the current Star Trek timeline How would they run parallel to one another? Would Tarantino’s rendition be a standalone movie?

When the announcement of Tarantino’s version would be on the horizon, people thought it would be a standalone. Since Zachary gave his input, and if it comes to fruition, this could put it in the timeline that occupies George and James T. Kirk.

"“My assumption is that it is with us. That is how it has been presented. You know, until deals are done and contracts are signed and schedules are cleared, nothing is set in stone, so anything can happen. My understanding is Quentin had this idea and they were shaping it and forming it and he is off to do his Manson movie. And it would be after that, that we would go maybe do one with him. Which is pretty exciting, pretty cool.”"

Although it hasn’t been confirmed, S.J. Clarkson is said to directing the fourth Star Trek installment, according to Variety.

Could you imagine mashing together Clarkson’s movie alongside that of Tarantino’s? Since time travel stories have been popular with the Star Trek franchise, wouldn’t it be awesome if James actually got to meet his father? Chris Hemsworth is said to be returning in the fourth flick.

It would be great to see them work together side by side. Admiral Pike could see promise and potential in Kirk back during the 2009 film, so it would be interesting how those two personalities would work together in a crisis situation.

Would this demonstration show that Kirk would be a chip off the old block? Share your thoughts in the comments.
