Game of Thrones fans have been pontificating about season 8’s ending. Now Sophie Turner weighs in on how fans will receive the show’s finale.

Game of Thrones fans have to deal with a year-long gap between the series. Since there is a considerable wait, fans will attempt to entertain themselves with speculation, theories, and anything of similar ilk.

Now, according to an interview with Sophie Turner via Digital Spy, she revealed the kind of reaction she thinks fans will have when season 8 comes to an end. She even acknowledged the fan theories that have been popping up online.

"“People have come up with so many fan theories about how it’s going to end, and who will end up where, and who will end up with who. It really is so unpredictable the way that it ends up. I’m very satisfied with that, and I think that the fans will be satisfied with that, too.”"

Last month, Turner was on The Late Late Show with James Corden. The host brought up Sophie’s tattoo of a dire wolf with a caption saying, “The pack survives”. Fans were thinking this could have been a spoiler when she clarified it was not.

But if you think about it, there could be an inkling of believe-ability (no pun intended) to this considering how Sansa and Arya Stark had assumed control of the north. I couldn’t help but think that Sansa has come a long way in her ability to rule. Also, with a right-hand-woman that’s an assassin trained by “no one”, one would think that the ink shown on Sophie’s arm to be quite believable, at least at season 7’s conclusion.

I think Game of Thrones already has a game changing situation at this point. I also wonder if this tattoo is a case of deliberate misdirection. However, would Miss Turner go far as to put ink on her body for that reason? People typically don ink because the symbol has special meaning for them.

But could this meaning serve a dual purpose? We can only find out come season 8’s conclusion and Turner’s take on the ending, it could be anybody’s game…of thrones?
