Supernatural is heading to SDCC 2018. Make sure you don’t miss the panel, whether you’re attending or not!

On June 25, Warner Bros. and SDCC 2018 confirmed that Supernatural would be one of the shows heading back to the major comic-con event. It’s the event of the year for TV; almost like the Super Bowl of conventions. This is the most important event for the SPN Family to get up to date information about the newer season.

You don’t need to be at the event to experience everything. You’ll be surprised at the amount of information people share online, whether through social media, Periscope, YouTube and more. So you’ll want to get all the panel details, so you know when to be on the computer to learn more (or know when to avoid the stream of spoilers that come out of the Q&A panel).

If you are there, you’ll also want this information. This will help you get queued up in time to see it all happen live.

We have all the Supernatural SDCC 2018 Q&A panel information you need to make sure you don’t miss a beat.

When and where is the Supernatural SDCC 2018 Q&A panel?

Get July 22 in your diary. That’s the date the cast and crew will take to the stage.

The panel will start live at 10:30 a.m. PT and will be in Hall H, according to the official SDCC 2018 site.

Hall H is the biggest room for a panel, hinting that this is going to be a popular event. Make sure you get there early to stand a chance of getting in. Here are our Hall H tips so you don’t miss out.

Who will be at the Q&A panel?

The convention site also details what to expect. More specifically, it shares who to expect. You’ll get to see the stars and executive producers at the Q&A panel. In recent years, this has been Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, Robert Singer, and Andrew Dabb.

Mark Sheppard has attended in the past but wasn’t there last year after leaving the series. This year, Alexander Calvert will join the cast.

Deadline had previously reported that Eugenie Ross-Leming and Brad Buckner would also be there. The official site doesn’t mention them by name, but they are both executive producers for the show.

Will it be on social media?

While the con doesn’t officially post anything on social media until after the panels, you will be able to keep up with the event through Twitter, Instagram, Periscope and more. The amount of information will depend on the attendees and whether they’ve been able to get photos and videos and whether they’ve managed to live stream.

Most cons will have people live tweeting. I’ll share the people planning on live tweeting closer to the date so you’re aware of the best people to follow. Most will have #SDCC2018 in their Twitter handle to indicate that they are there. It’s worth following a few people at a time and keeping a general #SDCC2018 search bar open on Twitter, so definitely get to a computer if you can.

What will be shared?

One thing we know that will be at the panel is a live exclusive video presentation. This is often the gag reel from the previous season, but you may also be teased to something from the upcoming season. Since filming started on July 10, there’s certainly the chance of getting a couple of minutes from the premiere.

Last year Supernatural went all out with an appearance from Kansas. It will certainly be interesting to see what happens this year.

Like previous years, the panel is a chance to share a few things from the cast and crew in the last season and then highlight snippets of what to expect in Supernatural Season 14. There will likely be spoilers. Last year, we learned Missouri Moseley would return and that a spin-off was in the works. What will be the news this year?

If you don’t want spoilers, I do suggest avoiding Twitter during the panel time. It runs for an hour, so I’d avoid for a couple of hours afterward. You’ll also want to check up on sites that don’t do well at keeping spoilers out of headlines. I try my best to avoid the details and make it clear that it’s a spoiler post so you don’t click accidentally and ruin the surprises. It’s not always easy, but I do try my best.
