Sunday morning’s Supernatural panel is a highlight for the SPN Family at San Diego Comic Con 2018. However, while you wait for Sunday, here are five other panels to check out during the long weekend.

San Diego Comic Con 2018 will start very soon. Sunday is going to be our highlight, with the Supernatural panel taking place in the morning. This is our chance to learn more about what to expect in Season 14. However, what should you do before then?

There’s so much going on over the long weekend. Between Thursday and Sunday, you’ll get the chance to learn more about your other favorite shows, check out promos and sneak peeks of upcoming movies, and learn all about some new projects. Here are five panels Supernatural fans will definitely want to check out this week.

All information for the panels comes from the official SDCC 2018 website.

5. The Predator

Let’s start with the panel for The Predator, which will take place in Hall H on Thursday. Starting at 10:30 a.m. PT, you’ll get the chance to see the director and cast, as they chat about the movie. Why is this important for Supernatural fans? Well, Sterling K. Brown is in the movie–yes, our own Gordon Walker.

He takes a main role in the promo for the movie, so you’ll certainly want to check out that. The panel is set to be an hour long. It’s the first panel of the convention in Hall H.

4. Charmed

If you’re not a fan of The Predator franchise and don’t fancy sitting through a chat, then why not head to Ballroom 20 at 11:15 a.m. PT instead. Thursday will see the panel for the upcoming CW reboot, Charmed.

More from Supernatural

Wait, why am I suggesting this? Well, there are a couple of reasons. One, I believe in supporting projects that interest you–if you find the idea of this intriguing despite Wayward Sisters not being picked up, then check it out! Two, it’s a diverse series, featuring a cast that is mostly made up of people of color and has a lesbian main character, which is awesome–something Supernatural could learn from!

I know there are views that Charmed getting picked up prevented Wayward Sisters from it, but I really don’t believe it did. Both could have been around and I don’t believe in affecting other peoples’ jobs for a show.

3. Intro to TV Writing

If you’re interested in what it takes to be a TV writer and how the storylines are developed, this is certainly going to be of interest. As Supernatural fans it will also be interesting to see why certain things happen the way they do. While there aren’t any writers from our show, there are some from other CW shows, including Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, which do follow some similar formats.

This is going to take place on Friday at 10:00 a.m. PT in Room 4. There’s going to be a huge Q&A session, so make sure you go with your questions!

You may also be interested in the panel on Saturday, Inside the Writer’s Room: From Script to Screen, the Breakdown, which will take place at 10:00 a.m. PT in Room 24ABC at Comic Con 2018.

2. Arrow

If you want to support former Supernatural actors in their new projects, then the Arrow panel and Q&A is the place you’ll need to turn. Plus, this is Stephen Amell’s show, and he and J2 get along extremely well when in Vancouver. There are all sorts of chats between them about dream crossovers.

The panel will be all about Arrow Season 7, so you’ll probably want to get caught up first if you’re not already. There will also be a video presentation and Q&A, similar to Sunday’s Supernatural panel. It runs at4:15 p.m. ET in Ballroom 20 on Saturday.

1. The Magicians

There’s no other panel that you should check out more than The Magicians, which will be a look at Season 4. Not only is this show perfect for Supernatural fans because of the mystery, magic, and darkness, but it’s packed with SPN cast and crew members. Felicia Day was in the third season and could be in the fourth since her character is still around. More importantly, former SPN showrunner Sera Gamble is co-showrunner of the series.

Check out The Magicians COmic Con 2018 panel at 7:00 p.m. PT on Saturday. If you’re watching on Twitter on ET, then you will need to stay up unti 10:00 p.m., but it will certainly be worth it!

By the way, Day will be at the panel, as she’s moderating it! Just how awesome is that?
