Pop! exclusives: Game of Thrones and Stranger Things

These two franchises have dominated pop culture for years so there’s no reason why to not mesh them together. Even though Game of Thrones isn’t coming to SDCC this year, Funko is still releasing exclusive products. Stranger Things was one of the most popular shows of this year too so let’s look at the exclusives.

This year, GOT only has 2 exclusives. First is a Pop! Figure of Olenna Tyrell while the other is an exclusive 4-pack Dorbz of dragons featured in season 7. A lackluster showing but with the series wrapping up soon, it’s understandable.

Surprisingly, Stranger Things also has a small number of exclusives. There are 3 for the Netflix smash-hit. 2 of the releases are Pop! Figures: Dustin at Snow Ball Dance, complete with amazing hair and a 2-pack of Billy & Karen Wheeler. The last exclusive is a Dorbz of Steve with Bandana.

Considering how popular both shows are, Funko didn’t release many exclusives. It’s a great business move for the company, though. With such a low amount of exclusives, fans will want them even more. Regardless, the exclusives are one die-hard fans will want in their collection.
