6. Why get rid of the power of premonition?

One of my biggest queries about the trailer was the decision for the youngest sister not to get the power of premonition. Instead, she gets the power of touch telepathy. While this is certainly a unique twist for the show, it’s disappointing. The power to see the future was ironic for Phoebe Halliwell, but also an extremely power for the Power of Three.

This will change everything. Phoebe’s premonitions helped the sisters find out which innocents needed saving. The premonitions helped the sisters find the demons and clues to locations. In many cases, the premonitions literally saved lives.

Touch telepathy just can’t do that. It’s going to change everything about the younger sister, so what was the reason for that? Why change the most important power on the series? What effect will this have on the sisters finding innocents? Does this mean there will be a slightly more Supernatural twist to finding innocents, basing off the news reports that look odd?

5. Will we get a demon like Balthazar?

Cole Turner was an intriguing addition to Charmed Season 3. While that season may be a long way off, there’s nothing stopping the showrunners from bringing that demon in now or even thinking about it now. Are there any plans to bring in a demon like Balthazar.

This doesn’t mean we need a demon that transforms and has a human half. What could be interesting is seeing a demon that infiltrates the sisters. Maybe someone a little more like Jeremy instead of Balthazar. Someone who has known the sisters for a while but has a dark secret; someone who knows what the sisters are supposed to be and is just waiting in the shadows for them to get their powers.

I do find it interesting that Ser’Darius Blain isn’t scheduled to be at SDCC 2018 for the Charmed Comic-Con panel. Could this be a hint that he is going to be Jeremy; that he’s not one of the series regulars? It could be due to other commitments but it’s certainly intriguing.
